A 45-year-old Philadelphia Freightliner driver was killed when his vehicle veered off Route 78 in Newark, NJ and struck more tractor trailers after crossing several highway lanes causing a fiery crash early Saturday, July 16, authorities said. Driver Hospitalized As Dump Truck Carrying Stone Flips In Warren County: State Police
A dump truck driver was hospitalized following a crash in Warren County, state police confirmed. The truck was carrying stone on Foul Rift Road in White Township when it overturned near the intersection at South Foul Rift Road shortly before 10 a.m. on Monday, June 13, NJSP Tpr. II Charles Marchan told DailyVoice.com. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Marchan said. A medical helicopter was also placed on standby, according to initial reports. The crash remains under investigation, police said.

Numerous emergency crews rushed to the scene of a truck that slammed into a home in Warren County. The Oxford Emergency Squad responded to the crash at a home in Oxford shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, the department said. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the crash, according to South Branch Emergency Services, Inc., which also responded. A UPS box truck slammed into a Lehigh Valley home over the weekend, authorities said. Crews responding to a previous crash on Route 33 were called to the report of a UPS box truck into a Northampton County home on Dec. 18, the Nancy Run Fire Company said. RE1413, E1712, and Chief 17 arrived at the scene and worked to support the damaged areas of the home’s garage until a contractor arrived to stabilize the structure, the department said. Possible Death Reported In NJ Turnpike Crash Near Newark Airport
A 32-year-old man died in a crash on the NJ Turnpike early Wednesday in Union County. An International tractor trailer and a Hino box truck were heading north in the truck late when the truck struck the back of the trailer at milepost 101.9 around 6:55 a.m., New Jersey State Police spokeswoman Brandi Slota said. The driver of the Hino box truck suffered minor issues, and the passenger, Geraldo J. Velez-Portes, 32, of Perth Amboy, died. The driver of the tractor trailer sustained minor injuries.

Details Released In Deadly Route 78 Dump Truck Crash That Killed Driver, 47
A 47-year-old Guttenberg man died in a dump truck crash Monday on Route 78, New Jersey State Police said. John Morales was heading west when his truck suffered tire failure around 2:30 p.m. near mile post 43.4 in Berkley Heights, NJSP Sgt. Alejandro Goez said. The truck crossed the roadway to the left, struck a guardrail and overturned, Goez said. The truck went through the center median and ultimately overturned down an embankment. Morales was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles or victims were involved.

A man died when he crashed his pickup truck into a home in Lancaster County on Wednesday night, according to Susquehanna Regional Police.
