Hudson Valley Man Nabbed For String Of Burglaries In Multiple States, Police Say
A New York man driving a truck with a stolen license plate wanted for its involvement in numerous alleged burglaries in surrounding states was nabbed after a short chase in Connecticut.
Hudson Valley resident Michael Simpson, age 40, of Walden in Orange County, was spotted by police in Fairfield County on Thursday, Nov. 30.
At approximately 8:30 a.m., an officer in Trumbull located the wanted Dodge Ram pick-up, driven by Simpson, traveling north on Daniels Farm Road.

JCPenney Employee Nabbed In Trumbull For Larceny Is Wanted Sex Offender, Police Say
A JCPenney employee charged with larceny in Fairfield County was wanted out of state for sex crimes against children.
During the arrest on Saturday, Oct. 28, Trumbull Police found that Joshua Jaheem Bell, age 18, of Bridgeport also had an outstanding extraditable arrest warrant for sex crimes against children in Colorado.
The incident began around 3 p.m. Saturday, at the Trumbull Mall, police were called to investigate an employee theft of $250 and Bell had previously stolen over $4,500 in the past, said Lt. Brian Weir, of the Trumbull Police.
