Two Killed In Two-Alarm Hudson Valley House Fire Two people were killed in a two-alarm house fire early Wednesday in the Hudson Valley, according to the New York State Police. The fire, which was reported around 3 a.m. in Monroe in Orange County, was already fully involved when firefighters arrived on the scene, officials said. Two people inside the residence at 18 Elm Road were found by firefighters, said Trooper Steven Nevel, spokesman for the New York State Police. Body Of Man Pulled From Lake In Harriman State Park The body of a possible drowning victim was pulled by dive teams from a lake in Harriman State Park near the border of Rockland and Orange counties on Monday morning. Lake Skannatati in Tuxedo was closed during the search. The man went underwater early Sunday afternoon. Thiells Fire Department divers were called to the scene after the Tuxedo Town Fire Department, Monroe Fire Department, Cronomer Valley Fire Department and  Stony Point Fire Department all responded.
