This story has been updated. Six minors were charged for alleged underage drinking after police responded to a report of screaming coming from a home in Fairfield County. The incident took place around 2:30 a.m., Saturday, June 15, when officers responded to the area of Dudley Road and Spoonwood Road in Wilton for a report of people screaming, said Wilton Police. Seven Long Island restaurants and retailers were among dozens throughout New York that were cited for selling alcohol to undercover minors during stings in the area. The New York State Liquor Authority used decoys to target restaurants and stores statewide as part of an effort to look for fake IDs and local locations that will sell alcohol to minors. Two store clerks have been charged following an underage drinking detail conducted by New York State Police. Morris Police Bust Massive Underage Drinking Party, Homeowner Charged
A Morris Township homeowner was charged after police found nearly 70 minors drinking alcohol at his house over the weekend, authorities said.
