A Pennsylvania man who gave his pregnant girlfriend the drugs that killed her also refused to save her, authorities said in announcing his arrest. It was Valentine's Day 2022 when Christopher Barbuto, 40, gave 28-year-old Courtney Wilson heroin and/or fentanyl, and two suspected Xanax pills, which were found in her purse near her body in Phonoexville, Chester County District Attorney Deb Ryan said. While Valentine's Day is a time for romantic gestures, the FBI has issued an alert to the public about romance scams. The agency said in an alert on Monday, Feb. 14, that the scams take place when a criminal adopts a fake identity online to get the victim's trust and uses the close relationship to manipulate and/or steal from the victim. Woman Takes Bullet To The Neck On Valentine's Day In Baltimore
A woman died after being shot in the neck on Valentine's Day morning in Baltimore, police said. The victim was found around 11 a.m. on the 1500 block of East Fayette Street by police responding for an investigation.
