Heroes: Upper Saddle River Responders Rescue Unresponsive Man, 58 UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J. -- A 58-year-old Upper Saddle River man wasn't breathing and didn't have a pulse when borough police arrived at his home. Officers Kevin McWilliams and Colin Gurney began CPR and attached a defibrillator as ambulance corps members and paramedics responded, Detective Lt. Edward Kane said. The victim's pulse returned and he was rushed to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, the lieutenant said. He was back at work six weeks later. 'Kidnapped' Fair Lawn Student OK After Scam Ransom Call To Dad RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- A woman on the other end of the line yelled for help before a scam caller from a phone number in Mexico told an employee at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood that his teenage daughter was being held for ransom late Thursday morning. It was bogus. The employee "believed the caller had the wrong number and hung up on the caller and contacted the Ridgewood police, Chief Jacqueline Luthcke said. Saddle Brook Nurse Keith Hubner Dies, 27 Keith Hubner of Saddle Brook died on Sunday, Jan. 21. He was 27 years old. Keith worked for Valley Hospital and most recently Englewood Hospital as a registered nurse. He is survived by his parents, Richard Hubner and Dorothy Cervone; best friend and sister Christine Ramos and her husband Omar of Rochelle Park; and brothers Brian and Steven Hubner.  He is also survived by niece and nephews Mason, Lucas and Lyla, and many loving friends.
