Woman, Puppy Killed In Single-Vehicle Highway Crash In East Greenbush
A woman was killed in a single-vehicle highway crash in the Capital Region that also claimed the life of a puppy. The Rensselaer County wreck happened on I-90, near exit 9 in East Greenbush, shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28. A Pleasant Valley man, 49, was driving eastbound when the vehicle veered off the right shoulder, struck a tree, and overturned before coming to rest in a wooded area, New York State Police said. A multi-vehicle crash has closed all lanes of Interstate 83 Northbound in York County, PennDOT announced on Monday, Jan. 20. The collision occurred around 11:45 a.m. near Exit 19, Route 462/Market Street, in Springettsbury Township. The vehicles involved are completely blocking the roadway, according to PennDOT. Driver Rescued From Flipped Car In North Salem
Firefighters had to free a driver from their overturned vehicle following a crash in Northern Westchester. The incident happened on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 6:20 a.m. when a car rolled over on Titicus Road (Route 116) in North Salem, the Croton Falls Fire Department said on Thursday, Jan. 16. Arriving fire crews found that the driver was trapped inside and worked to stabilize the vehicle with struts and cribbing. Once they finished stabilizing it, crews removed the car's sidewall to get to the driver. The response took around an hour.

Woman Hospitalized After Strike At Lebanon Intersection: Police
A woman was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Lebanon, Lebanon City police announced on Thursday, Jan. 16. The incident occurred in the area of East Cumberland and Bowman streets around 6:30 a.m., police said. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, authorities added. The pedestrian, an adult woman, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Her condition has not been disclosed.
