Car Burglars Caught By Cresskill Police
Targeting dark houses without exterior lighting, a pair of car burglars entered nearly a dozen vehicles in Cresskill and made off with wallets, cash, change and sunglasses before borough police nabbed them.
Officer Matthew Banta was on patrol just before 4 a.m. Saturday when he spotted the pair, dressed all in black, walking on McGrath Drive, Detective Charles Franke said

Numerous Car Burglaries, One Stolen Vehicle Reported In Wilton
Car burglars were on the move in Wilton overnight with police reporting numerous burglaries in the northern part of the town.
Most the burglaries took place Monday evening on Ridgefield Road, Mountain Road, Millstone Road, and Hickory Hill Road, in the northern part of Wilton, said Wilton Police Lt. Robert Kluk.
Cash, personal items, and a handgun were stolen from the vehicles. The department is also investigating a stolen 2015 Porsche Cayenne taken from a driveway on St. Johns Road which has not been recovered, Kluk said.
