Newbury PD: 80 Painted Nails Were Placed In Municipal Lot To Damage Police Vehicle Tires
More than 80 nails were found in the parking lot of the Newberry Township Municipal Complex on Monday, according to police. Police believe the nails were intentionally placed to target the police department and for the purpose of damaging tires. Severe Winds Topple Large Tree On Top Of Two Vehicles In Area
Severe winds in the Hudson Valley overnight toppled a large tree on top of two vehicles, causing extensive damage. The tree came down around 12:55 p.m., Saturday, March 13, in the area of Hommelville Road, in Saugerties, where other trees and wires were down in the area, Saugerties Police Chief Joseph A. Sinagra said. Both vehicles were severally damaged, the chief said. Severe winds brought down trees and wires in Ulster County.Saugerties Police Department Central Hudson crews and fire personnel also responded as several trees that had come down also took out powerlines in the area. …

Facade Collapses At Long Island Apartment Complex
Bricks fell from a facade of a Long Island apartment complex, damaging seven vehicles. The incident took place around 11:18 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 17, at an apartment complex located at 191 Hawthorne Ave., in Central Islip, said the Suffolk County Police. Seven vehicles were damaged. Officials said there were no injuries. The Central Islip Fire Department also responded. The Town of Islip Fire Marshal and Building Inspector was notified.

Clark Police ID Suspect Vehicle In Fatal Hit-Run
Clark police have released photos of the suspect vehicle that struck and killed an 82-year-old man earlier this week. The suspect vehicle is a red or maroon 1994-2004 Chevy S-10 or GMC Sonoma hit James B. Leinbach 6 a.m. Tuesday near Raritan Road and Clarkton Drive, local police said. The vehicle fled eastbound and Leinbach was pronounced dead. The vehicle should have damage to the passenger's side front fender, antenna and side view mirror, police said. Woman Nabbed For DUI After Driving Off Roadway, Striking Several Items, Police Say
A 25-year-old woman was arrested for alleged drunk driving after police received a report of a woman driving off the roadway and striking several objects before fleeing the scene. A 23-year-old man was arrested following an alleged domestic dispute in Mount Kisco.
