Woman Struck, Killed By Vehicle In Camden: Authorities
A woman was fatally struck by a vehicle in Camden on Sunday, Sept. 7, authorities said.
At 4:58 p.m., law enforcement responded to 17th Street and Route 30 and found a woman, who has not been identified, struck by a vehicle, Dan Keashen, director of public affairs for Camden County, said.
The woman was transferred to Cooper Medical Centre where she was pronounced dead, Keashen said.
The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and the investigation is ongoing, authorities said.

The Garden State Parkway was closed in Bergen County Friday, Aug. 22 due to an overturned vehicle, the DOT website shows.
John Henry Dasilva, 27, of New Milford, was driving northbound on the Garden State Parkway near Exit 171 when he saw a gray BMW SUV traveling at an estimated 80 to 90 mph veer onto the grass median on the southbound side at around 9:50 a.m., he tells Daily Voice.
The vehicle crashed into trees in the center of the parkway and flipped forward, he said. Dasilva was unable to stop but called police to report the crash, he said.
