Multi-Car Crash Closes Route 145 in North Whitehall
A multi-car crash temporarily closed the northbound lanes and one southbound lane of Route 145 in North Whitehall Township Friday morning, reports say. Three people were injured in the 10:30 a.m. crash near Clearview Road that involved a Ford Focus, a Jeep, and a Volkswagen Tiguan, which overturned, LehighValleyLive reports citing Pennsylvania State Police. The crash is under investigation.

Hit-Run Driver At Large After Southern State Parkway Crash Injuring Motorcyclist
New York State Police investigators on Long Island are looking for eyewitnesses as they continue an investigation into a motorcycle crash on the Southern State Parkway last month. Police said that at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, a motorcyclist was struck by another driver while heading westbound on the parkway near exit 29 in the town of Oyster Bay. A 32-year-old was killed during a crash while allegedly attempting to pass another vehicle at a high rate of speed in the Hudson Valley, state police said.. Long Island resident Leighton L. State Police: Volkswagen Driver Airlifted In Route 80 Crash With Tractor-Trailer
A Volkswagen driver was airlifted in a crash on Route 80 westbound in Warren County Wednesday morning, state police said. The driver of a Volkswagen sedan crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer near milepost 2 in Knowlton Township just after 10 a.m., NJSP Trooper Lawrence Peele told Daily Voice. The Volkswagen driver was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, while the tractor-trailer driver was uninjured, Peele said. The westbound lanes were shut down following the crash, which remained under investigation, Peele said.

A nursing assistant who may end up losing a leg from a head-on crash with a Passaic County driver in Morris County reportedly has won a $1.49 million settlement. Silver Alerts have been issued for a pair of children who were reported missing in West Haven and believed to be with their mother, police announced.
