Pedestrian Hospitalized After Hit By Vehicle At Wall Speedway:

A pedestrian was hospitalized following a crash at Wall Stadium Speedway on Saturday morning, Nov. 22, authorities said. At 11:50 a.m., troopers responded to the speedway in Wall Township after a race car attempting to make a left turn lost directional control and struck a guardrail, causing the vehicle to overturn and strike a pedestrian, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The pedestrian sustained moderate injuries and was transported to an area hospital, Lebron said.. No other injuries were reported, Lebron said.

Numerous windows were recently broken at Camp Evans Officer Quarters in Wall Township, authorities announced Wednesday, July 30. Unknown individuals trespassed onto the property on the 2200 block of Marconi Road and broke 17 windows, also causing damage to a detached garage, Wall Township police said. A 50-year-old Toms River drug dealer was sentenced to 11 years in prison on Friday, April 4, authorities said. Octavaeous Jenkins had previously pleaded guilty in February to possessing and distributing more than five ounces of cocaine, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said.
