Wall Township police responded to the crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Route 35 and Warren Avenue at around 11:22 a.m. on Monday, Apr. 15. More Than 2K Customers Lose Power In Central Jersey
More than 2,000 customers were without power in Monmouth County, officials said. According to the outage map for Jersey Central Power & Light, 1,172 customers in Wall Township and 920 customers in Belmar lost service as of 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Apr. 16. That accounts for about 20 percent of Belmar customers and about nine percent of Wall customers. In a Facebook post, Belmar police said a JCP&L crew was responding to the outage. Duo Accused Of Carjacking Takeout Customer In Newark Face Federal Prosecution
Two repeat offenders charged with carjacking a customer waiting for a pickup order outside a Newark restaurant are now in federal custody and aren't going anywhere. The victim was pumping air into the front passenger tire on Dec. 9, 2023 when the pair arrived in a 2015 Lexus that had been stolen from outside a Wawa on Route 34 in Wall Township. Central Jersey Man Found With Crack Cocaine During Traffic Stop: Police
A Monmouth County man was accused of having crack cocaine during a traffic stop, authorities said. Wall Township police arrested 45-year-old Donny Reevey of Neptune at around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 19, the department said in a Facebook post. Reevey's arrest came after he was stopped for traffic violations on Route 35 near New Bedford Road. He was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute. Reevey was released on a summons with a future court date.

A 54-year-old driver was killed when his vehicle veered off the Garden State Parkway in Monmouth County on Thursday, March 14, State Police said. Joseph Pace, of Brick township, was heading south in a Hyundai when he rear-ended a Jeep SUV in Wall Township near milepost 100.3 just after 3:05 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt.
