The 17-year-old was heading west on Route 57 when the 71-year-old Subaru Legacy driver was attempting a left turn from S. Lincoln Avenue around 1:30 p.m.Washington Police Lt. John Kaufmann said. The teen was treated at the scene by of the Washington Emergency Squad and transported to Hackettstown Medical Center. WTPD officers were assisted at the scene by the Washington Emergency Squad. Christopher Ayala, of Washington, started a porch on fire at 56 Broad St., shortly before 4 p.m. Monday, LehighValleyLive reports. Local firefighters extinguished the blaze in about 15 minutes, officials said. Ayala was arrested at the scene and subsequently charged with arson, criminal mischief and person not to possess a weapon (a knife), authorities said. Police responded to Route 31 north of Rocky Run Road around 9:15 Wednesday night where the 2002 Chevy Malibu had overturned, NJ.com reports.
