Three men face murder charges in the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old Long Branch man, authorities announced Thursday, Oct. 16.
On Sunday, March 16, at 12:34 p.m., Long Beach police responded to the area near John R. Lewis Commons and found Tristan Reeves with gunshot wounds, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said.
Rivers was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

Linden Man Charged In Deadly Shooting: Prosecutor
A 23-year-old Linden man was arrested and charged with murder on Tuesday, Oct. 7, authorities said.
At 3:26 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 27, Linden police responded to 3100 block of Irene Street and found Darrell Sanders, who had sustained a single gunshot wound, Union County Prosecutor William Daniel and Linden Police Chief David Hart said. Sanders was transferred to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

Four teenagers, including two juveniles, have been arrested for a shooting that occurred in Linden, Linden police announced Tuesday, Sept. 23.
Linden police, along with the Union County SWAT team and other police departments, executed search warrants throughout Elizabeth, apprehending Amare Bakersville, 19 and two 16-year-olds for a shooting that occurred in April, law enforcement said.
On Friday, April 25, officers responded to Woodlawn Avenue after two groups exchanged gunfire following a dispute, police said. Several vehicles were damaged, though no injuries were reported, police said.

A 19-year-old Pleasantville man was arrested and charged after he made threats while brandishing a firearm on Wednesday, Aug. 13, authorities said.
At 11 a.m., officers responded to a report of a man, later identified as Javont Bell-Lowe making threats at the Dollar General at 600 South New Road, Pleasantville police said.
Bell-Lowe fled the scene prior to officers arrival, police said. When officers spotted him, he fled on foot and discarded a firearm that was recovered by law enforcement, police said. Bell-Lowe was apprehended soon after, police said.
