Clifton Woman, 35, ID'd As Victim Fatally Struck By Light Rail Train The person killed when she was struck by a light rail train in Weehawken Monday night is a 35-year-old Clifton woman, NJ Transit said.  Saskia Guerrero was struck by the Hudson-Bergen line train around 11 p.m. near Port Imperial Boulevard. The Hoboken train had about 70 people aboard.  Family have started a GoFundMe campaign on her behalf to help with expenses. The incident remains under investigation.

Click here for more.  Original story:  A pedestrian died Monday night when she was hit by a Hudson Bergen Light Rail train in Weehawken, NJ Transit said.  The woman was hit around 11 p.m. near Port Imperial Boulevard. Acme Stores In Woodcliff Lake, Elmwood Park To Shutter A pair of Bergen County Acme markets will shutter this fall, a company spokesperson said. The Woodcliff Lake (Chestnut Ridge Road) and Elmwood Park (Broadway) stores will shutter by Oct. 2, a company spokesperson told NJ.com. Two other stores in Weehawken and Scarsdale, N.Y. will also be closing around the same time, Acme spokeswoman Dana Ward told the media outlet. Acme closed its Park Ridge location in 2018, just three years after renewing the lease from a shuttered A&P. Its Bergenfield store also went out of business in 2017. No word yet on the stores' replacements.
