Unbelted York County Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Crash On I-83 In Manchester Township
A York County man died from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle crash along Interstate 83 in York County on Wednesday, according to the York County Coroner's Office. Brian Miller, 54 of Conewago Township, was traveling on I-83 South near mile marker 23 when he swerved off the highway to the right, got back on crossing both lanes of traffic and hit a jersey barrier, according to Pennsylvania State Police. A 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a deadly Valentine’s Day shooting in West York, authorities said. Ronald Cilik Boyd Jr., of York, was apprehended by the US Marshals and York County Drug Task Force on Wednesday night. Boyd was wanted for allegedly shooting and killing Angel Perez II, 30, who was targeted and shot around 3 a.m. on Feb. 14 in the 1400 block of West Market Street at an after-hours party in a Caribbean Restaurant, according to police. The York County Coroner has identified an 11-year-old boy who drowned in Jackson Township Thursday night.Payton Gonzalez, of Spring Grove, was swimming with a friend in Codorus Creek near the Iowhead Damn when he went under water and didn't come back up around 5:40 p.m., authorities said. Emergency Dispatch Services sent crews to the scene of a boat rescue near the intersection of Sprenkle and Hershey roads, where the boy's body was recovered at 5:43 p.m., authorities said.
