Woman Was DUI At West Chester Checkpoint, Police Say A 34-year-old woman was charged with DUI after being stopped at a checkpoint in West Chester last month, authorities said. Abigail McCourt, of Downingtown, was pulled over at the checkpoint in the 600 block of E. Market Street around 11:15 p.m. on Oct. 8, according to the West Chester Police Department. Officers said she seemed impaired. McCourt was charged with DUI and released on a summons.  A preliminary hearing is pending at District Court 15-1-04.

Female Groped On West Chester Street, Police Say Police are seeking the public's help identifying a man who they say groped a woman on a West Chester street last week. A "female victim" was walking south in the 50 block of South High Street around 12:25 a.m. on Sept. 14 when a group of three white, college-aged men was walking north toward her, West Chester police said. As the group of men passed her, one of them groped her breast and continued walking north, police said. Man Exposes Himself To Woman In West Chester, Police Say A man was arrested for exposing himself to a woman in West Chester, authorities said. The woman told officers that 56-year-old James Fedrick exposed himself to her in the 300 block of West Washinton Street on Tuesday around 7:45 p.m., West Chester police said. Fedrick was taken into custody and transported to Chester County Prison for arraignment.  Fedrick was charged with indecent exposure, open lewdness, and harassment.  His preliminary hearing is pending. Bar Fight Shooting Leads To Arrest In West Chester A bar fight shooting in West Chester lead to the arrest of a Brookhaven man this month, authorities said. Jayronn Harris, 25, is accused of firing four shots from a handgun outside of a bar in the 50 block of West Gay Street around 2 a.m. on Aug. 23, West Chester police said. Two of the shots struck a business on the street, police said. No injuries were reported. Harris was apprehended on Sept. 9 by the City of Chester Police Department. He was remanded to Chester County Prison after not posting $500,000 cash bail. No further details were released.
