A Connecticut man has claimed a $500,000 lottery prize.
Hartford County resident Christopher Borkowski, of Southington, won the "$500,000 Extravaganza! Second Edition" prize from a ticket purchased at RK Liquor Store, located at 64 South Center St. in Southington, Connecticut Lottery announced on Tuesday, Oct. 18.

Connecticut Lottery announced a series of new winners who claimed major prizes.
New Haven County resident Monique Michaud, of Naugatuck, claimed a $177,777 "Electric 7s Second Edition" prize, CT Lottery announced on Wednesday, Oct. 5.
The lottery said the winning ticket was purchased at Cross Point Convenience LLC, which is located at 800 New Haven Road in Naugatuck.

A winning lottery ticket valued at $825,000 was sold at a Connecticut store.
An unnamed Massachusetts resident, from Worcester, claimed the "$1,000,000 Emeralds" prize from a ticket sold in Windham County, Connecticut Lottery announced on Monday, Aug. 22.
The ticket was purchased in the town of Thompson at the XtraMart, located at 9 Woodstock Ave., CT Lottery said.

Two Connecticut residents claimed lottery prizes valued at about $50,000.
Fairfield County resident Louis Pulitano, of Stratford, won a $50,000 prize from a Money Match Multiplier ticket purchased at Krauszer's Food Store, located at 911 Campbell Ave. in West Haven, Connecticut Lottery announced.
CT Lottery then announced that Zachary Renaldi, a resident of Oakdale in New London County, claimed a $50,020 prize from a KENO ticket purchased at Renaldi's One Stop Package, located at 1590 Route 85 in Oakdale.

A winning lottery ticket valued at $100,000 was sold at a Stop & Shop in Connecticut.
An unnamed West Hartford resident purchased the CASH5 Connecticut Lottery ticket at the grocery store, located at 1235 Farmington Ave. in West Hartford, CT Lottery reported on Monday, July 18.
