A "Bloods" gang member from Long Island has been charged with alleged sex trafficking, interstate prostitution, and child pornography.
Joshua Lampley-Reid, age 26, of West Hempstead, a member of the Makk Balla set of the Bloods, was arrested and Wednesday, June 9, and arraigned on the charges on Thursday, June 10, according to Mark J. Lesko, acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York.
Lampley-Reid was charged with sex trafficking, coercion, and enticement of minors, sexual exploitation of a minor, transportation of child pornography, and interstate prostitution.

Gabriel DeWitt Wilson, age 31, of Hempstead, was arraigned on Friday, June 4, for the shooting on Tuesday, April 20, that left the store manager dead and two employees seriously wounded, said the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office.

Man, Woman Face Charges After Incident Involving BB Gun At Long Island Stop & Shop
A man and woman were arrested for allegedly threatening a customer at a Long Island Stop & Shop with what turned out to be a BB gun during an argument.
The incident took place around 8:45 p.m., Sunday, May 23, at the store at 50 Cherry Valley Ave., in West Hempstead, said the Nassau County Police.

The West Hempstead Stop & Shop reopened Monday, April 26 following the shooting on Tuesday, April 20, Stop & Shop President Gordon Reid announced.
