Man On FBI's 'Most Wanted' List Captured In California 15 Years After NJ Robbery Tie-Up: Feds
A man who has been on the FBI's "Most Wanted" list for a 2009 armed robbery of a New Jersey restaurant has been captured in California. Kofi Edwards, 51, was arrested without incident in Sacramento, CA following a tip from the public, the FBI's Newark Central Jersey Safe Streets Task Force announced. FBI Newark had offered up to $10,000 leading to Edward’s arrest and will pay out the reward. 7,000-Gallon Tanker Truck Strikes Railroad Bridge In Central Jersey (

A 7,000-gallon tanker truck struck a railroad bridge in Woodbridge on Wednesday afternoon, July 10, authorities said. Woodbridge police could not immediately confirm the tanker's contents but said there were no major leaks and no injuries. The crash occurred at about 2 p.m. at Green Street and Rahway Avenue. An unconfirmed report said the tanker was carrying jet fuel. Hazmat crews and NJ Transit were at the scene of the crash, police said. No train service was interrupted due to the crash, according to a NJ Transit spokesman. Check back for updates.

Car Fire Completely Shuts Garden State Parkway, DOT Says
There are heavy delays on the Garden State Parkway due to a car fire closing all lanes in Union County on Wednesday, July 10. Three lanes are blocked on Garden State Parkway northbound from Exit 132 in Woodbridge to Exit 135 in Clark Township, the Department of Transportation said. Open lanes are operating on a 2.5 mile delay, the DOT said.

Motorist Escapes Car In Rainwater In Central Jersey: Police
Flooding from heavy rain led to a car being submerged in water in Central Jersey, authorities said. Woodbridge police responded to a "car in the water" on Sunday evening, June 30, they said. A person told police their vehicle was submerged in the water up to the roof near Leesville and Douglas avenues at about 6 p.m., according to a Woodbridge police spokesman. A 24-year-old man has been arrested for slashing a man and cutting off some of his fingers during an attack under the Victory Bridge in Perth Amboy, authorities said.
