A Freightliner truck with a utility trailer was parked on the right shoulder of Route 440 north when a northbound Honda Accord struck it, according to New Jersey State Police. The driver, Joey Lopez, of Staten Island, left the road, entered the shoulder and struck the trailer at 12:24 p.m. Monday May 1, according to State Police spokesman Sgt. Philip Curry.
