Party-Stunt On Mattress Towed By Truck Goes Wrong, Two Flown To Hospital
Two partygoers were seriously injured while attempting a stunt on a mattress being pulled by a truck in Manheim Townshipon Sunday, say authorities. Northern York County Regional Police Department were called to investigate a crash in the 5500 block of Wolfgang School Road around 2:54 a.m. On scene the police found a woman, 26 from Glen Rock, with a major head injury. Also on the ground was a man, 24 of Glen Rock, with a severe leg injury. Any vehicles involved with the crash had left the scene. York City PD: 3 Injured In 2 Simultaneous Shootings
Three men were injured in shootings that happened in two different areas of York City at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, according to police. York City police responded to the 600 block of Cleveland Avenue for a shots fired call. While driving to the area the officers were told that a 29-year-old victim had arrived at York Hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. York City police also investigated a shooting incident which occurred in the 900 block Heiges Avenue.Police were told two shooting victims--19 and 21-year-old men-- had arrived at York Hospital. Coroner IDs Boy, 2, Drown In York County Storm Drain
A two-year-old who went missing on Easter has been identified after he was found drown in a storm drain, authorities said. The toddler has been identified as Kamdyn Torres. He was reported missing shortly after 6 p.m. on Sunday night, family said he was last seen playing in the backyard according to Northern York Regional police. A volunteer assisting with the search found the body around 8 p.m. on East Tenth Avenue. Emergency medical services tried to revive the boy via CPR. He was declared deceased at a York Hospital.
