Sales Fall, But Average Home Price Climbs 31% In Greenwich GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich real estate activity in the third quarter reflected a countywide trend of declining sales but higher single home values. Sales fell 8 percent in the third quarter in Greenwich compared to the third quarter in 2013. However, the average sale price climbed 8 percent, according to a report from Houlihan Lawrence. Single-Family Home Price Climbs 5.1 Percent In Stamford FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Activity slowed but average home prices grew in Stamford, Darien and New Canaan and reflected a third-quarter trend in Fairfield County. Sales fell by 8.8 percent in Stamford in the third quarter over the same time frame from last year.
