Police Find Heroin After Raiding Home Of Stratford Man STRATFORD, Conn. -- Police raided a Stratford man's home after he sold heroin to undercover officers on two occasions, according to the Connecticut Post. Police had received information that 29-year-old Ronald Geter was selling heroin in Bridgeport and Stratford, and set up two purchases from him, the Connecticut Post reported. Man Charged With DUI After Picking Up Kids From Stamford Day Care STAMFORD, Conn. -- A New York man was arrested after picking his kids up from a Stamford day care and driving away under the influence with one of the kids on his lap, according to the Stamford Advocate. Police told the Stamford Advocate that employees of a Maple Avenue day care called police after 43-year-old Hugo Alex Ortega-Poma arrived to pick up his children and had the odor of alcohol on his breath. Two Women Charged With Prostitution In Bethel BETHEL, Conn. -- Bethel Police arrested two women this month on prostitution charges after they posted ads online offering sexual services, according to the News Times. Police told the News Times that they had received a tip earlier this month that women were advertising prostitution services at various locations in Bethel through the website Backpage.com. Possible Nor'Easter Could Bring Heavy Rain To New Canaan This Weekend FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The Fairfield County area is likely to see some rain and storms Thursday afternoon, with an out-of-season Nor'easter possibly hitting the region this weekend. Bridgeport Man Busted With Stolen Gun, Pot In Stratford STRATFORD, Conn. -- Stratford Police found a stolen handgun and marijuana on a Bridgeport man who injured an officer during his arrest Wednesday, according to police.
