Police Continue Search For Somers Bank Robber Suspect SOMERS, N.Y. -- New York State Police are continuing to search for a man who robbed a bank at gunpoint in Somers last week. The robbery took place at the Chase Bank in Baldwin Place around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19. The man walked into the bank, displayed a black handgun and demanded U.S. currency from the teller, according to state police. He then left the bank on foot, headed in an unknown direction. Police ID Mount Kisco Pedestrian Killed On Route 35 In Bedford BEDFORD, N.Y. -- The pedestrian killed on Route 35 in Katonah Wednesday night has been identified as Louis Rutigliano, 56, of Mount Kisco, according to Bedford police. Police received a dispatch shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday that a pedestrian had been struck by a car on Route 35 near the Interstate 684 interchange. He had been hit by a westbound car while walking in the travel portion of the road. Police said that a nearby doctor attempted to revive Rutigliano using CPR until paramedics arrived.
