Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Welding Accident Caused Fire At Worcester High School Under Construction A welding accident is to blame for a 3-alarm fire that broke out at a school building that is still under construction and sent one person to the hospital in Worcester, authorities said. Malden Woman, 19, Killed In Wilmington Car Crash: DA's Office A 19-year-old woman from Malden has died in a car crash in Wilmington, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office reports. Mattie Fitzgerald was killed in the crash that happened in the area of 411 Salem Street around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, the office reports. Fitzgerald was found dead inside the vehicle, which was found on the side of the road. Fitzgerald was the only one in the car, the office reports. The crash is under investigation.

Braintree High School Student Busted For Bringing Knife To School: Officials A student was removed from campus after bringing a folding knife to Braintree High School, school officials said. Braintree Police were called to the school after one student told the administration that another student had a knife on Tuesday morning, Sept. 13, Superintendent Jim Lee said in a statement.
