Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Worcester Police Officer Allegedly Finagled Pay For Unassigned Off-Duty Work A Worcester police officer was arrested for supposedly collecting almost $45,000 for off-duty assignments that he did not work, authorities and MassLive report. Crews Battle 3-Alarm Brush Fire In Gloucester (Update) Firefighters were on the scene in Gloucester where a 3-alarm brush fire broke out earlier Monday morning, Aug. 1, authorities said. The fire started in the area of Poles Hill and Riverview Road around 10:45 a.m., Gloucester Fire said. Crews struggled to contain the flames as the area was hard to access and the blaze spread because of dry and windy conditions. Man With 'Significant Amounts' Of Unpaid Child Support Nabbed In Stoughton A man was arrested at Stoughton District Court "over significant amounts of unpaid child support" on Friday, July 29, the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office said. Kysle King, formerly of Sharon, was wanted for not paying child support for several years, the office said. Former Central Mass Basketball Players Killed In Overnight Weekend Crash Two former basketball players who came up through a local club in central Massachusetts have died in an overnight weekend car crash in Templeton, authorities said. Haverhill Photographer, 44, Critically Injured After Struck By Car A 44-year-old Haverhill resident was flown to a Boston hospital in critical condition after they were struck by a car while riding their bike, authorities said. IDs Released For Connecticut Duo Killed In Massachusetts Rollover Crash Authorities have identified the Connecticut duo killed in a morning rollover crash on I-290 in Worcester as Luc Morin, age 65, and Christine Banavige, age 52, both of New Britain. Person Drowns At Pavilion Beach In Ipswich: Police Authorities in Ipswich are investigating after a person drowned over the weekend. Ipswich Police and Fire Departments responded to a person in distress at Pavilion Beach around 5:17 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, both departments said in a joint release. Crews pulled the individual from the water, who wished to remain unidentified, before taking them to a local hospital where they later died. The incident is under investigation.
