Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Great White Shark Spotted Off The North Shore It appears the heat wave has attracted sharks to the North Shore.  According to the Sharktivity app, a Great White shark was spotted close to Plum Island on the morning of Monday, July 25.  The Sharktivity App tracks sightings backed by researchers, safety officials and people who use the app to upload photos for confirmation. 17-Year-Old Boy Killed In Bicycle Crash In Central Massachusetts: Police A 17-year-old boy was killed in a bicycle-involved crash over the weekend in Webster, authorities said.  Police responded to a report of a car versus bicyclist in the area of 21 First Street in Webster around just after 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, Webster Police said.  Upon arrival, officer found the teenager "obvious injuries to his head" lying on the ground. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died. Police did not say if he was wearing a helmet.  The victim's identity has not been released due to his age. The incident remains under investigation.
