Pedestrian 'Incident' On I-81 At Maryland Border Clears: PennDOT Part of Interstate 81 shut down in Central Pennsylvania on Friday morning, according to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler.  The "pedestrian-related incident" happened at mile marker 1 on Sept. 22 shortly before 7:40 a.m., Schreffler detailed to Daily Voice.  The southbound lanes closed between exit 3 to Molly Pitcher Highway and the Maryland border, according to PennDOT.  The roadway reopened shortly after 9 a.m. "No more information will be released at this time," Schreffler said.
