Horse Struck Dead, Pennsylvania State Police Say A horse was struck dead in Lancaster County earlier in the summer, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, Sept. 5. The horse was struck while standing in the middle of Little Britain Road South in Little Britain Township at 4:39 a.m. on July 25, according to the state police release. Driver Hurt In I-81 Work Zone Tractor-Trailer Crash: PennDOT A box truck driver was hurt in a crash with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 81 on Friday morning, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation officials told Daily Voice. The multiple-vehicle crash happened on I-81 South near exit 66 by Front Street in Harrisburg around 5:45 a.m. on Sept. 8, according to PennDOT spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler.
