Police Investigating Threat Made Against Connecticut Elementary School Police in Connecticut are investigating after an elementary school received a swatting threat, which forced administrators to cancel a promotion ceremony.  Authorities at Bear Path Elementary School in Hamden said they received the threat around 9:30 a.m. on Friday, June 13. Administrators were forced to evacuate the school. Students were taken to a separate location so they wouldn't be forced to stand in the heat. Police ID 83-Year-Old Man Killed In CT Crash Authorities have identified the 83-year-old Connecticut man who was killed in a crash earlier this week that sent a woman to the hospital.  Reinaldo Cintron was killed on Tuesday, June 10, in a two-car wreck on Fourth Avenue in New London, police said.  When officers responded to the crash, they found Cintron unresponsive, but the other driver was alert and conscious. Both drivers were taken to a hospital.
