An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. Near Drowning Leaves Victim Critical: Lacey Twp PD A person is in critical condition after nearly drowning in Lacey on Tuesday, June 30, authorities said. At 8:28 a.m., officers responded to Bayfront Park and with the assistance of a passing boater, were able to reach and lift the victim from the water, Lacey Township police said.
