Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Human Remains Found Near Busy Rockville Centre Intersection Police are investigating after human remains were found in broad daylight near a busy Long Island intersection. The incident happened Friday afternoon, Feb. 23 in Rockville Centre. A nationwide cell service outage prevented many customers of several different service providers from placing or receiving calls, sending texts, or accessing the internet for much of the day on Thursday, Feb. 22. About 74,000 AT&T outages were reported by the website Downdetector.com at 8:15 a.m. Thursday. Just after 10:30 a.m., the number reported was around 61,000. IDs Released For Women Killed, Critically Injured In Plainview Apartment Complex Fire The identities have been released one woman who was killed and another who suffered critical injuries after a fire on Long Island. The blaze broke out around 5:05 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 18 in Plainview at a Senior Living Apartment Complex located at 107 Central Park Road.  Upon arrival, responders observed smoke and flames coming from the second-floor roof, Nassau County Police said.   An 84-year-old woman who resided at the complex, now ID'd as Theresa Casale. was pronounced dead  at scene.
