Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Woman Killed After SUV Slams Into Tree In East Meadow A woman was killed after an SUV crashed into a tree on a Long Island roadway. The crash happened just before 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14 in East Meadow. The victim, age 78, was operating a 2012 Ford SUV on 3rd Street at Hempstead Turnpike when it left the roadway and struck a tree on 3rd Street at Hempstead Turnpike, Nassau County Police said. ID Released For West Babylon 34-Year-Old Struck, Killed By Tow Truck In East Farmingdale The identity has been released of a man killed in a crash on Long Island. It happened around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13 in East Farmingdale. A pedestrian was crossing Route 109 at Route 110 when he was struck by a 2022 Ram tow truck traveling westbound on Route 109, Suffolk County Police said. Nationwide Recall Issued For Meat Products Due To Possible Contamination A  nationwide recall has been issued for a brand of meat products. Fratelli Beretta USA, Inc., based in Mount Olive, NJ, says the undetermined amount of ready-to-eat (RTE) meat charcuterie products containing Coppa may be under-processed, which may have resulted in possible contamination with foodborne pathogens. The recall was announced by the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
