Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suspect Nabbed For String Of Nassau County Business Burglaries A man has been charged in connection to a string of business burglaries on Long Island. Nassau County Police officers responded to Mr. Vape & Smoke Shop in Levittown around 3:20 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 located for an audible alarm. Upon arrival, they discovered the front window of the business to be broken and ransacked. The investigation revealed surveillance video of Christopher Gonzalez, age 35, entering the business, and removing an unknown amount of US currency and cigarettes before fleeing the scene. ShopRite To Close 5 NY Locations: Here's Rundown Supermarket chain ShopRite is closing five stores in New York. The closures, scheduled for early December, are all in the Capital Region, according to a report by Winsight Grocery Business: Albany, Colonie, Niskayuna, Slingerlands, and North Greenbush. Gun Violence Threat Leads To Postponement Of Homecoming HS Football Game In Hudson Valley A homecoming high school football game in the region was postponed because of a threat of gun violence. The threat was received several hours before the varsity contest in Dutchess County between rivals John Jay of East Fishkill and host Roy C. 24-Year-Old Admits To Attempting To Meet Girl At Hotel In Hudson Valley, DA Says A 24-year-old had admitted to multiple charges, including attempting to meet a minor in the Hudson Valley. Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh II announced on Friday, Oct. 19 that Dylan Choe, of New York City, has also pleaded guilty to disseminating indecent material to minors.
