Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Suspect At Large After Maryland Parking Lot Shooting Police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead in a Prince George's County parking lot, authorities say. 9-Year-Old Boy Playing With Gun In Maryland Fatally Shoots Teen: Police A 9-year-old boy has been identified as the suspect that accidentally fatally shot a teenage girl in the head, officials say. The boy was allegedly playing with the loaded handgun when it accidentally discharged, striking and killing Nykayla Strawder, 15, in the 600 block of Linnard Street on Saturday, Aug. 6, according to Baltimore police. Man Stabbed Victim Dead During Argument In Baltimore: Police A Baltimore man has been charged in connection to a fatal stabbing inside of an apartment, authorities say. Baltimore Police Ask For Help Identifying Woman Wanted For June Shooting Police are looking to identify a woman in relation to a shooting in Baltimore this past June, authorities say. The shooting occurred around 2:17 a.m., Sunday, June 26 in the 600 block of S Broadway, according to Baltimore police. Two men, ages 37 and 22, were shot in the incident and taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries. Police have released the image in hopes of identifying the woman in relation to this investigation. Crash In Silver Spring Reportedly Kills One, Pins Another: Developing A multiple vehicle collision has reportedly killed at least one person, according to initial and unconfirmed reports.
