Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Fentanyl-Laced 'Perc30' Kills 2 Virginia Teens, Authorities Say Two Virginia teens died within days of each other after apparently ingesting counterfeit Percocet laced with fentanyl, authorities said. A 15-year-old died in Woodbridge on Sunday, April 24, and on April 26, a 14-year-old in Dale City, PWC police said. Police say the deaths are believed to be connected to the same drug, pending toxicology reports. Leesburg Gunman Nabbed Following Fight, Authorities Say A Leesburg man was arrested in his alleged connection to a Lansdowne altercation on the night of Tuesday, April 26. Kenneth M. Manion, 40, is accused of brandishing a firearm and shooting it into the air during an altercation with an alleged acquaintance on the 19200 block of Harlow Square around 10:30 pm according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Manion was arrested and is being charged with brandishing a firearm, assault, and discharge of a firearm. He is being held in the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond, police report.

The three-vehicle crash occurred on March 9 on Georgetown Pike.
