2 Bodies Recovered In Hoboken Warehouse Fire Two bodies were found in the warehouse that was ravaged by flames Monday in Hoboken, authorities said. The blaze broke out following a loud explosion at 38 Jackson St, around 12:20 a.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Man Tries Snatching 3-Year-Old From Mom On NJ City Street: Police A man attempted to snatch a 3-year-old girl from her mother on a city street in New Jersey Sunday night, police said. The man, whose name was not released, approached a woman walking near N. 6th Street and Freeway Drive in Newark and tried to take her daughter around 9:45 p.m., according to Public Safety Director Brian O’Hara. The man was apprehended by police as he tried to flee, O’Hara said. The incident remained under investigation. Additional details were not released.

UPS Box Truck Slams Into Lehigh Valley Home [Photos] A UPS box truck slammed into a Lehigh Valley home over the weekend, authorities said. Crews responding to a previous crash on Route 33 were called to the report of a UPS box truck into a Northampton County home on Dec. 18, the Nancy Run Fire Company said. RE1413, E1712, and Chief 17 arrived at the scene and worked to support the damaged areas of the home’s garage until a contractor arrived to stabilize the structure, the department said. Man Shot, Killed In Trenton: Prosecutor A man was shot and killed in Trenton over the weekend, authorities said. Officers responding to a Shot Spotter activation on the 400 block of Garfield Avenue found the man with multiple gunshot wounds in the back of a home on Garfield Avenue around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office. The man was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. His identity was not released. Man Wanted For Brutal Assault In Northampton County: Police Police are seeking the public’s help locating a man who brutally assaulted a victim in Northampton County. Darshawn K. Hallett, 37, was identified on surveillance footage striking another man in the back of the head with a stainless steel water bottle at Merakey on Sullivan Trail in Nazareth shortly before 3:25 p.m. on Dec. 15, Slate Belt Regional Police said. Pedestrian Airlifted After Being Struck By Car In Hunterdon County: Police A pedestrian was airlifted with serious injuries after being struck by a car in Hunterdon County, authorities said. The pedestrian, whose ID was not released, was struck on Case Boulevard in Flemington around 5:25 p.m. Friday, Raritan Township police said in a release. The victim was airlifted via Northstar to Robert Woods Johnson University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said. The accident remained under investigation by the Raritan Township Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police Seek ID For Woman Who Racked Up $5K In Credit Card Fraud Around Lehigh Valley Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a woman they say racked up $5,000 in fraudulent charges using a stolen credit card in the Lehigh Valley area. The woman, pictured above, stole the card from a Bethlehem Township resident and has been using the card at gas stations and Walmarts throughout the Lehigh Valley area since April, township police said in a Sunday release. Northampton County Burger King Shutters: Report A Burger King location in Northampton County abruptly closed its doors this week after more than 30 years in business The Morning Call reports. The signage of the Male Road and Route 512 store in Wind Gap was taken down this week, according to the report, which cites a worker and a written PR statement. NJ Man 'Tired Of Being Mother-In-Law's Sole Caretaker' Had Beaten Her For Days: Report A New Jersey woman was beaten by her son-in-law over the course of two days before her body was found, NJ.com reports citing police papers. James J. Pica, 58, beat Barbara Ann Bezzone, who was found lying on the floor unresponsive with severe injuries at a home on Prospect Street in Nutley around 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N.
