Peter Napolitano, better known to viewers as his TV persona “Produce Pete,” has died, Channel 4 NBC New York announced Monday, Jan. 26. He was 80.
The Englewood, NJ native was a fixture on the Saturday editions of "Weekend Today in New York," where he often spoke about growing up in Bergen County and working at his family’s neighborhood market, Napolitano’s Produce.
