A second suspect has now been arrested in connection with a tech support scam that targeted a Westchester County resident and led to the victim handing over $20,000 — while fraudsters attempted to collect even more, police said.
Rongyu Cheng, 33, of Flushing, was arrested following a year-long investigation into the scheme that began on May 9, 2025, the Croton-on-Hudson Police Department announced.

A disorderly conduct call at a Rockland County 7-Eleven store on Memorial Day escalated when an intoxicated man tried to punch a police officer in the head during an investigation, authorities said.
Officers responded at around 8:45 p.m. on Monday, May 25, to the 7-Eleven on College Road in Monsey for a report of an intoxicated and disorderly man inside the store, Ramapo Police said.
