A Brooklyn man already wanted on outstanding warrants was arrested after allegedly leading troopers on a vehicle pursuit in Ulster County, sideswiping another vehicle, and fleeing on foot before being caught, police said.
Quavon V. Travis, 32, was arrested after an incident in Kingston on Sunday, June 21, New York State Police announced on Thursday, June 25.
According to the agency, the incident began a little after 9:50 p.m. on Sunday, when troopers saw a 2019 Kia traveling on Washington Avenue in Kingston in violation of multiple state vehicle and traffic laws.

A 32-year-old Dutchess County man faces numerous charges, including two counts of rape, following a search of his home, police said.
Poughkeepsie resident Ericq Pesante, 32, was arrested on Wednesday, June 24, following an investigation into the sexual assault of a minor, the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department announced.
According to the department, at around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, officers executed a search warrant at 173 Union St., Apartment 1, alongside the Poughkeepsie Joint SWAT Team and Gun Involved Violence Elimination Detail.

Man, 20, Accused Of Raping 14-Year-Old Child In Hudson Valley
A 20-year-old man has been jailed after allegedly raping a 14-year-old child in Orange County, police said.
Wallkill resident Ryan Geoffrey Hablow, 20, was arrested on Tuesday, June 16, the Town of Montgomery Police Department announced on Tuesday, June 23.
According to the department, police began investigating a complaint of an adult man engaging in a sexual act with the young victim. This investigation led to Hablow's arrest.
He was charged with second-degree rape and remanded to the Orange County Jail on a $2,000 cash bail, police said.
