Jahmel Inman, 32, of Albany, was arraigned on a 12-count indictment before Albany County Judge William Little on Tuesday, June 23, according to Albany County District Attorney Lee C. Kindlon.

The death toll of a devastating fire at a New York Knights Inn has increased to six — and a 24-year-old man now faces manslaughter charges, police said.
Broome County resident Tyler J. Russell, of Endwell, was arrested Monday evening, June 22, following an investigation into the deadly blaze at the Knights Inn on East Main Street in Endwell, New York State Police said in an update on Monday night.

A 31-year-old Bronx man faces aggravated drunk driving charges after police said he was found intoxicated with two young children in his car in Putnam County.
Edgar Ismael Loja, 31, was arrested on Sunday, June 21, following a traffic stop on the southbound Taconic State Parkway near mile marker 32.3 in Kent, New York State Police announced on Monday, June 22.
