Man Indicted In Deadly Shooting Of Atlantic City Woman: Prosecutor
A 26-year-old Atlantic County man has been indicted following the deadly shooting of Jaylou Marlenne Pineda-Lopez, authorities announced Thursday, June 18.
Franklin Junior Felipe De La Paz is facing manslaughter charges, along with being in possession of a large-capacity ammunition magazine, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.
At 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, officers responded to 2202 Hamilton Ave. and found Pineda Lopez, 22, with a gunshot wound, authorities said. She was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

A 23-year-old Delaware man was arrested in Philadelphia after police say a shooting at Wilmington Hospital left one 19-year-old dead and another critically injured.
John Wallace-Bey, of New Castle, DE, was taken into custody Tuesday night, June 16, in Philadelphia and is awaiting extradition to Delaware, Wilmington Police announced.
Wallace-Bey has been charged with first-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and carrying a concealed deadly weapon, police said.
