Motorcyclist Injured In Route 47 Crash In Dennis Twp: Njsp A motorcyclist was injured in a crash on Route 47 in Cape May County Tuesday morning, June 16, authorities said. At 4:52 a.m., troopers responded to State 47 north in Dennis Township after a Yamaha motorcycle collided with a Ford pickup truck attempting to make a left turn from Route 47 south into a parking lot, Christopher Postorino, a spokesman for New Jersey State Police said. As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist sustained moderate injuries and was transported to an area hospital, Postorino said.  The crash remains under investigation, Postorino said.

At 12:38 a.m., troopers responded to 88 Mohican Rd. in Blairstown Township and found a residence fully engulfed in flames, Caitlin Brennan, a spokeswoman for the New Jersey State Police said. Two people were in the residence at the time of the fire and were pronounced dead, Brennan said. Their Names are being withheld pending notifications, Brennan said.
