At 7:12 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a deceased person in the Allamuchy pond in Allamuchy Township, Caitlin Brennan, a spokesperson for the New Jersey State Police said. The body was recovered from the water, and identifications are being withheld pending notifications, Brennan said. The case remains under investigation, Brennan said.
