An infant was among three family members killed in a fiery hit-and-run crash on the Merritt Parkway, Connecticut State Police said.
Yanelet DePaz, who was 1 year and 9 months old, died alongside Maria E. Vasquez Chacon, 29, and Joselyn Vasquez-Chacon, 25, both of Trenton, New Jersey, Connecticut State Police said.
The crash happened early Sunday morning, May 11, on Route 15 south in Stratford near Exit 36. Troopers were called to the scene around 4:50 a.m., according to a state police incident report.
