A graduation party in South Jersey ended in violence when gunfire broke out after a motor vehicle crash, leaving three juveniles injured, Lebron said.
Troopers responded at approximately 11:42 p.m. Friday, June 26, to a shooting at a home on Elm Street in Deerfield Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
An argument broke out between two individuals following a motor vehicle crash outside the residence, where a graduation party was taking place, Lebron said.

Armed Boonton Chase Bank Robber Escapes With $12K Prompting Major Search, Prosecutor Says
A masked gunman robbed a Chase Bank in Morris County before escaping with approximately $12,000, prompting a massive manhunt on Saturday, June 27, authorities said.
The robbery happened at approximately 1:57 p.m., at the Chase Bank at 530 Myrtle Ave., in Boonton, Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, Boonton Police Chief Chris Petonak, and Capt. Anthony LiMandri said.

Jersey City Housing Supervisor Took Cash For Rental Permit: Prosecutor
A supervisor with the Jersey City Department of Housing, Economic Development, and Commerce was arrested following a fraud investigation, authorities said Saturday, June 27.
Jessica Barreto, 48, of Wallington, was arrested Friday, June 26, on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive by members of the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Special Investigations Unit and the Jersey City Police Department, Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello said.
Barreto accepted a $1,500 cash payment for personal gain in exchange for issuing a short-term rental permit, prosecutors said.

'Unthinkable': Fair Lawn Fire Co. Mourns 2 Deaths In One Week
A Fair Lawn fire company is mourning the loss of two members who died within one week of each other.
Michael M. Mullens, 57, died Sunday, June 21, and Berlando "B" Drake, died late Thursday, June 25, Fair Lawn Fire Co. 3 spokesman Douglas Sadowski said.
Sadowski, who has served with the department for 38 years alongside Mullens, said only about half a dozen active members have died during his time there.
"To have two pass away in one week is unthinkable," Sadowski said. "As a volunteer fire company, we are a family. It’s no different than having two family members die in the same week."
