Double Homicide Update: Son Killed Mother, Stepfather Inside Capital Region Home, Police Say Nearly two weeks after a husband and wife were found dead inside their home in the region, their son has been charged with their murders. In Schenectady County, the bodies of Robert Guillaume, age 73, and Cathy Guillaume, age 65, were found Friday, July 7, inside a Rotterdam home on Fern Avenue, one block east of the Rotterdam Industrial Park. Man Holds Woman Captive, Fires Gun Inside Capital Region Home, Police Say A domestic violence call in the region ended with a 37-year-old man in handcuffs accused of holding a woman against her will and threatening her with a loaded gun. Child Sex Abuse: Man Preyed On Capital Region Victim Under Age 11, Police Say A 68-year-old man is facing sex crime charges after allegedly abusing a child from the region. John Donaldson, of Lackawanna in Erie County, was arrested Thursday, July 13, following a joint investigation by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office and the Lackawanna Police Department.
