Crash Knocks Over Pole, Transformer, Causes Outages In Dover An early morning crash left a pole and a transformer knocked over on a Dutchess County road, causing a power outage and leaving the roadway blocked.  The crash happened on Johnson Road in the Town of Dover on Thursday morning, June 11, according to Dover Town Supervisor Rich Yeno.  In an update posted at 7:17 a.m., Yeno said he had been notified of an electrical outage caused by an auto wreck on Johnson Road. The road was closed, and NYSEG crews were on scene with police, Yeno said.  According to the supervisor, repairs were expected to take several hours because crews …
