Man Broke Victim's Foot, Threatened Her With Gun During Home Burglary In Region, Police Say A woman is recovering after a man allegedly broke her foot and threatened her with a gun during a home burglary in the Capital Region. The incident happened in Albany at around 10:40 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, inside a home on Dana Avenue, according to Albany police. Capital Region Man Repeatedly Punched 5-Month-Old Dog In Head, Police Say A man from the region is facing animal cruelty charges after he was allegedly caught on video punching a 5-month-old dog. Albany County resident Jordan France, age 30, of the village of Green Island, was arrested following an investigation by the Green Island Police Department. One Person Injured In Small Plane Crash On Capital Region Lake One person is recovering after a small plane crashed into a Capital Region lake, authorities said. Emergency crews in Fulton County were called just before noon Sunday, Oct. 9, with reports of an accident involving a small, single engine plane on Great Sacandaga Lake, near the town of Mayfield. Police Seek Long Island Convenience Store Robber Who Claimed To Have Gun Police are asking for help locating a man who robbed a Long Island convenience store while claiming to have a gun. The incident occurred at the 7/11 store on Grand Avenue in Baldwin at around 11:40 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, according to Nassau County police.
